The Return B2 screen consists of several lines of information which must be entered. The statistics are entered by Offense. You should make sure that all of the data collected for the Offense being entered is present before entering the next Offense or moving to the next data entry page.

When the "ADD" button has been pressed, the screen will be reset to allow for additional Offenses to be added. After all of the statistical data has been entered, choose from one of the links at the bottom of the page to continue processing.

If the "ADD" button is pressed, and no data has been entered, you will be presented with an error screen. The screen will instruct you how to proceed. When you have reviewed the instruction, click the "OK" button to shut down the error screen and proceed with processing.

Four links are available to allow you to control the data entry process. At any time during the data input, Help for the completion of Return B2 is available by clicking on the "Need Help?" link on the bottom of the page.  Clicking on the  "Save Submission" link will save all statistics entered up to that point, in the event you are not able to complete entering all statistics for the current month's submission in one session. Remember that only a completed screen can be saved. The system will prompt you to complete the screen if required statistics have not been entered. Clicking on the "Return To Adult Arrests List" link will take you to a screen that recaps all of the Age, Race, Sex and Ethnic Origin data that you have enter so far. Finally, clicking the "Adds Are Complete" will take you to a screen that recaps all of the Age, Race, Sex and Ethnic Origin data that you have enter so far.

If at anytime you would like to return to the Offense List without saving the data you have entered, click on the "Return To Adult Arrests List" link. This link is not available for the first Offense being added.

The screen that is displayed when "Return To Adult Arrests List" or "Adds Are Complete" link is clicked will show the list of Offenses for which you have already entered Age, Race, Sex and Ethnic Origin data. For each individual Offense and Sex Type that has been entered, you have the option to Change the data entered or Remove the entire Offense for the Sex Type should you have made a mistake in data entry.
