View System Settings Table - Pennsylvania Uniform Crime Reporting Administration System

The View System Settings screen appears when the "System Settings" link is clicked on the System Functions screen. This is a screen that is populated with all of the System Settings currently found in the database.

The screen consists of a table that lists all of the available fields on the database. These fields include System_Setting_ID, System_Setting_Category, System_Setting_Type, System_Setting_Name, System_Setting_Value and System_Setting_Comments.

The Table contains the database names of the fields stored in the System Settings Table across the top as column headings. These column headings can be clicked causing the values within the table to be sorted by the chosen column. If the column heading is clicked once, the data is sorted in descending order. If the column heading is clicked a second time, the data is sorted in ascending order. When the View System Settings screen is originally displayed, the data is sorted in ascending order by System_Setting_ID.

The actual System_Setting_ID value within the table functions as a link. These values are underlined. Clicking on one of the ids within the table will cause the Change System Setting screen to appear with the old field values populated.

Some of the tables contain many values, making scrolling to the correct value in the table more difficult. You can find a value in the table by clicking the Edit option on the Browser Menu bar and selecting the Find on this Page option. This option can also be activated by pressing the control and F key. You will be provided with the standard search box. Enter the value you would like to search for and press the find button. Your cursor will be positioned on the value.
